Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

My sis is dying to know whats the best way to straighten curly long hair..but she wont ask cuz she dosent wanna waste her points..please help her!

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

My hair is very long, thick and VERY curly. My soon to be sister-in-law is a hairdresser. She gave me a Chi iron for Christmas. She told me to blow dry my hair as straight as possible, then take small chunks of hair (bottom to top of head) and slowly straighten it using my Chi iron. I used it day after Christmas and my hair looked fine and straight as a board for 3 days. Mind you, it took 45 minutes to straighten my hair! It also depends on the weather. I once went to Orange Beach, Florida and we were going to take pictures on the beach, my sister-in-law straightened my hair but by the time we walked to the beach, it started curling up! Chi irons are about a hundred bucks but they are the best!

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

straightenin comb, flat iron, scissors

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

a straightener?

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

salon =] or the cheapest way is to buy a good straightener and those straighten cream that is ONLY for hair straighteners =]

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

with a good quality straightener

or get it professionally straightened

at a salon

or buy straigtening serums are a drugstore

or salon

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

CHI FLAT IRON ALL THE WAY!

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

i heard a flat iron works good

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

waste her points? are you serious??

Do you get a car or something if you get enough points??

As far as I know they have no value whatsoever.

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

a good ceramic straightner. but honestly, curly hair looks better than straight if you ask me.

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

wash it blow dry it out and flat iron it when u flat iron use some kind of spray so it wont burn your hair

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

A straightener is the only way I can think of. Just have her use a straightening shampoo, gel, and hairspray to hold. If her hair is think, it will curl again when it comes in contact with moisture, so use alot of hairspray. Hope this helps!

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

I have naturally wavy hair..not curly. I just use a 1in. Hot Tools flat iron. Make sure her hair is completely dry, grab a small chunk of hair and move the flat iron from the scalp to the end of the hair slowly. It takes forever, but it's straight and adorable when it's done!! Good Luck!!

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

A Straightener Works Really Well, But It Can Cause Fried Ends. If You Want A More Natural Look, I Suggest Using Special Shampoo That Is Made To Make Your Hair Look Straighter. Even Though A Straightener May Fry Your Hair It Works Best, I Use One, I Suggest It The Most.

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

The girl who cut my long, curly hair straightened it with a hand held device - it was heated, had kind of Teflon coats pads that she pressed the hair between. Kind of opened and shut like scissors or tongs. But it was much prettier curly! It only lasted until I washed it, thank goodness.

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

my cousins hair is so so curly and i straightened it the other day. first make sure hair is totally dry. then brush it. then put a product in that protects hair from heat and helps straighten hair. brush hair again to make sure the product is all over. straighen hair with a straightener(one that has a built in comb helps) and hari sprya hair after. good luck

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

use straighten iron, not the cheap ones

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

I guess you can go to a professional and get a perm.

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

flat iron. invest in a high quality one for the best results, and if you plan to do this often.

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

Try a flat iron or go to a professional for a hair straightening

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

Hi, I too have really long curly hair. I find the best way is with a staightener. The night before you do it put some nice hair cream in it to stop the straightner from drying out your hair. Then go to bed and let the cream dry while your asleep. Tie the top half of you hair up in a bun and the straighten the bottom half first in small sections. Then tie the straightened hair off to the side and start on the top. ** Always make sure you hair is dry before you straighten it otherwise it will just dry out **

This is how i always straighten my hair and it works every time!

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

The best way without actually having to have someone chemically straighten it would be using a good styling gel or lotion and a flat iron. She might want to go to a salon and ask a stylist which styling gel/lotion is best for straightening hair.

If she doesn't have a flat iron, I kid you not, she can use a clothes iron. Women use to use them before they came out with flat irons. But you have to put it on LOW (and use the steamer). I don't recommend it unless she knows what she's doing.

The best way is to have it chemically straightened at a salon. Just remember, it will stay straightened until it grows out. It's cheaper than getting a perm (since they don't have to use perm rods).

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

I have long really curly thick hair. And what i do is I first wash and condition my hair with pantene for women of color (it has alotof oil in it for dry hair like mine) then i blow dry it while i brush it out. Then I spray my hair with "Ion" its used especially for straighteners so you dont burn your hair. and I have to use a straightener that gets up to 450 degrees. I burn myself alot. I hope Ihelped. Idont know where your located but you dont want tobuy a straightener from walmart. you want to go to sallys beauty supply. they sell the best kinds.

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

The best way I have found with my friends hair is to blow dry first and brush while blow drying. Then the whole straightening process does not take as long. But while she is straightening her hair make sure she doesn't go to fast, cause this tends to just make it frizzy.I hope this helps

Best Way To Straighten Curly Long Hair?

she can try relaxing it at a salon or she can even buy the relaxer and do it at home if she's brave enough.

Need help : have curly frizzy hair need hairtstyle ideas! thx <3?

ok so my hair is really curly and gets frizzy when i air dry it, i usually put it in a braid or straighten it but i hate straightening ..oh and i have side bangs. so i need hairtsyles that look cute w/ my hair type and that won't make it look frizzy ..and maybe some1 can tell me how to get/keep that cute wet lookk =]

Need help : have curly frizzy hair need hairtstyle ideas! thx %26lt;3?

how to keep the wet look: scrunch your hair. it will define your natural curls, keep it from frizzing, and keep your hair looking wet. i reccommeng garnier fructis "curl construct mousse" "hard curls gel" or "curl forming gel spray" the first two may make your hair a little crunchy though...

Need help : have curly frizzy hair need hairtstyle ideas! thx %26lt;3?

panteenprovine shampoo and conditinor and and hair Laotian

Need help : have curly frizzy hair need hairtstyle ideas! thx %26lt;3?

you could do pony tail so cute hot comb straight it out or be confident about your hair

Need help : have curly frizzy hair need hairtstyle ideas! thx %26lt;3?

Mine is the same. I use Suave Mousse, in the pink can. And lots of it, while my hair is still wet, it keeps the curls and cuts down on frizz. Also, when its humid outside, after you wash , and before the mousse, I like to put just a dab of Aussie's Anti Frizz lotion. (IT smells great and works) then add your mousse and let air dry. It works for me.

Need help : have curly frizzy hair need hairtstyle ideas! thx %26lt;3?

i think u should get ur hair chemically relaxed! i know some1 w/ frizzy hair who did this and it made it all straight and nice!!!! :-)

Need help : have curly frizzy hair need hairtstyle ideas! thx %26lt;3?

OMG.............i can relate.i am soo happt 2 answer thiz question! bcuz i had the SAME problem until monday. i started using ~~~~~garnior fructis~~~~~. well use the CURL AND SHINE SYSTEM.alsa use the LENTH AND STRENTH SYSTEM. and then put SOFT CURL and then AUSSIE TEXTORIZING GEL. trust me thiz works!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can now wear my hair down without regretz!!!!!! trust me THIZ workz. p.s. all thiz iz by garnior fructis exept 4 the aussie.

o and dont get it relaxed.. it damages... itried b4

Need help : have curly frizzy hair need hairtstyle ideas! thx %26lt;3?

well air drying is bad for your hair. always use a blow dryer. I love Tresemme products. there are products for every use you style your hair. i love the tres creat styling putty for locking in curls and preventing frizz and the tres two extral hold hair spry for a little spruce and body. there are also alot of heat protectors you can use and color treatments but if you want more infor visit

http://www.tresemme.com

I'm serious use this stuff, it really works!!

Need help : have curly frizzy hair need hairtstyle ideas! thx %26lt;3?

I told someone this earlier and with the side bangs wrap the wet/damp hair around and twist it until its twisted from the top to the bottom, then take a blow dryer and move it down the hair on high heat and high speed, dont move it back up again once its at the bottom if you go in the up direction it will get frizzy. try this 2-3 times throught your hair drying process and it will sculpt those curly bangs...

STAY AWAY FROM HAIR GEL!! Crunchy/wet/greasy hair is never in.(Im sorry but Its just not cute, really, I understand it keep it in place but it feels gross and is not what you want a guy touching. Plus it has no movement.)

I use garnier fructis curl conditioning leave in cream after i get most of the water out(do not towel dry, rubbing it makes it frizzy) and then I put in a bit of mouse(if you have a lot of hair/thick hair do a 1/2 palm full to a full palm full depending) and then use a diffuser. To top it off I put a bit more of the conditioning cream to style it and tame down the rest of the frizzy puffyness that mostly happens at the top, and a equal but not over the top amount of dove hair spray(really gentle, wont make you cough cause its in a spritzer bottle, they have different holds and I use the blue bottle which I think is a strong hold. I would reccomend that to most people unless you have really fine hair and not much hair cause that stronger hold could weigh it down).

Remember weather can effect your hair. moist/rainy out will make it frizz or curl more. dry/hot weather will make it flatter. Also keep in mind to start out with smaller amounts of product because often times less is more. If ever it gets poofy when your out and about put a tiny bit of lotion in your hand and work through it gently with your fingers to create a more sculpted look :)

Good luck with your frizzy hair!

Curly Hair! Help?

Okay, I am having a little problem. You see, I have been getting perms to make my hair straight since my mother couldn't deal with my hair when I was little. After my last trip to the salon back in Feb., the beautician that was doing my hair completely fried it, and now my hair is completely damaged. I decided two months ago to try to go natural... and ugh... I do not know.. I am not having my doubts. When I was little before I got my first perm (age 8), my hair was wavy (I am Jamaican). Now, three inches of my new growth are telling me a different story... instead of wavy, it is now wirey and extremely springy! It barely looks like a curl or even a wave. I mean, sure it looks like a mini way wear it sprouts out of my head, but besides that, it is a tight wirey ugly thingie! What kind of hair is this? I am confused because I naturally have wavy hair. Should I just perm it again? If it turns out like an afro I think that I am going to cry myself to sleep.

P.S. Although, the short parts of my hair turn out to be big curls that are not wirey at all... I think that my hair is possessed.

Curly Hair! Help?

DO NOT PERM IT FOR AWHILE...instead, get the hair that looks fried cut off, there is nothing that can fix this except for alot of time and money..., have you tried a hair straightener to make your hair straight? or permanent straightening? re-perming your hair now will make it more damaged, and you may have to end up cutting it all off, give your hair good doses of conditioning treatments, get the fried hair cut off, and leave the perm till most of the last one has grown out....you can use a hair straightener in the mean time, or hunt down hair products that are made especially for your natural type of hair to control the curls.

Curly Hair! Help?

Hi! Dont worry there's plenty of remedy now. As long as you save for the cost. Have you try rebonding it using lor'eal product. It wont damaged your hair. Promised ! Hey Lor'eal did not pay me for this but i personally have tried it and its worth the cost and from there be sure to take care of your hair. Have your weekly hot oil treament or if you are into cost cuttng you can purchase a medicine for hot oil and go to the parlor inform them that you have your own medicine pay only for the labor. There are some saloon that allows it. Shampoo your hair every other day but if you want to wash it daily use conditioner. I hope i was able to enlighten you in some aspect.

Curly Hair! Help?

go for japonaise brushing n do treat it 2 to 3 times a year. believe me it's works.......

I cut my stepdaughters curly, frizzy hair way too short. Any suggestions?

She has African-American, Caucasian, and Puerto Rican hair. It looks cute when flat-ironed, but when curly it is super short.

I cut my stepdaughters curly, frizzy hair way too short. Any suggestions?

flat iron it for a few months while you let it grow out...

then it wont look as bad while its curly but it still looks cute while straight :D

I cut my stepdaughters curly, frizzy hair way too short. Any suggestions?

get extensions or get her hair braided. good luck!

I cut my stepdaughters curly, frizzy hair way too short. Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear that!!! How old is she? I would just keep straightening it until it grows back. Make sure her hair is well moisturized, though. You don't want it to get any frizzier from all of the heat and dryness.

I cut my stepdaughters curly, frizzy hair way too short. Any suggestions?

give her an African American perm it will straighten it alot better so you wont havet o flat iron it as much

I cut my stepdaughters curly, frizzy hair way too short. Any suggestions?

Get a relaxer for her hair until it grows out some more.

I cut my stepdaughters curly, frizzy hair way too short. Any suggestions?

oooooooooo bad mom, :) lol

How do I tame my curly. bushy wild hair??????

I have natural curly, bushy hair! I always have problems keeping it down after a shower letting it naturally dry without puttin anything on it and it frizzes and goes into knots.

I recently tried this curling serum that works on my hair when it is damp and hardens a bit and works in my style that I want. It is curly of course but it is bigger (i mean looks a bit like beyonce's hair if you know what i mean but a bit slimmer) I guess I could say it is puffy.

Can anyone help me with this? thanks.

How do I tame my curly. bushy wild hair??????

Have you ever tried doing a Sinead O'Connor? Problem Solved!

X

How do I tame my curly. bushy wild hair??????

I keep my hair quite long then I can wear it up for work etc.

When I wash it I use a very good conditioner and then leave it to dry natural, just before it is completely dry I twist it up into a clip. This acts as a huge roller and leaves it bouncy as opposed to bushy.

Try it , it does work.

How do I tame my curly. bushy wild hair??????

shave it all off , at least you wont have the problem them

How do I tame my curly. bushy wild hair??????

A really good trick someone taught me was to simply leave normal conditioner in it and dry it normally, it turns it into ringlets, pantene and fruictis are the best let me know if it works for you!

How do I tame my curly. bushy wild hair??????

hair serum :)

...just a teeny bit tho.

How do I tame my curly. bushy wild hair??????

use straighteners?

How do I tame my curly. bushy wild hair??????

I have the same problem. Before I wash my hair, I rub a tiny bit (about half a teaspoon) of extra virgin coconut oil between my palms and smooth over hair and scalp, especially the ends. Are you near a Lush store? They do mail order if not. They have an excellent range of shampoos and conditioners. The solid ones with coco-butter are the best. I also use their solid massage bar (well they have quite a few but it's the one with aloe vera, jojoba oil and coco-butter). You have to have warm hands to melt in, then rub hands through hair. Don't over-do it though or it may end up looking greasy. They also have hair gels which are great for taming my wild locks-i use king of the mods, it's a gentle hold, smells great, isn't sticky and is actually good for your hair. Wear a hat if the weather is drizzly - that kind of weather really sets my hair off.

How do I tame my curly. bushy wild hair??????

First, get a proper haircut. You want a moderate amount of layers, without making it fluff up even more. Get the bottoms trimmed "upwards" as to create curl definition.

Then products. Wash your hair, and you will have to use some sort of syling product. I've found that Aveda be curly mixed with their confixor does wonders. Divide your hair into four sections and apply the product without brushing it through to each of the four sections, kinda crunch it in. Then use a hair dryer, with a diffuser, on high heat, but low speed. let it dry. Usually if you sleep on it it tames it a little more. You should get wonderful definition without the frizz.

How do I tame my curly. bushy wild hair??????

Use ant-frizz shampoo. Toni and Guy anti-frizz shampoo is great. there are also some great 'perfect curls' lotions to put in your hair after you get a shower!!!!!!

My cousin has this really curly frizzy hair she wants 2 straighten it..do u have anyother option?

hey my cousin is 15yrs old.and she has this really curly and frizzy hair..she hates her hair and wants 2 straighten it..can anyone guide us in this regard?? we just wanna know if there is any other possibility of making her hair less frizzier apart frm straightening it or where is the best place for straightening ur hair in india??

My cousin has this really curly frizzy hair she wants 2 straighten it..do u have anyother option?

I know the feeling! I have really curly frizzy hair! the best thing I can tell you is eigther use Garnier Fructis Sleek %26amp; Shine weightless Anti-frizz serum or my favorite is the Frizz-ease brand serum. get the maximum level, then have light, regular and for extra frizzy hair they have like a level 3, it's in a purple bottle. But yea, rub some in after the shower. I like both of these brands cuz they don't feel greasy or make your hair look greasy. and then just scrunch with some mouse! and I always finish with Garnier Fructis's spray gel, that always helps the frizz all day.

My cousin has this really curly frizzy hair she wants 2 straighten it..do u have anyother option?

if you can find some anti-frizz serum and a straightening iron, the best bet would be to rub the serum in when the hair is still wet to keep from frizz and to protect the hair from the intense heat of the iron, then use the iron to straighten after it dries.

My cousin has this really curly frizzy hair she wants 2 straighten it..do u have anyother option?

I'm not sure about India, but get a flat iron to straighten the hair along with some really good products (Frizz-Ease). My hair is really curly, and I try to keep it straight by only washing it every other day and using a moisture lock shampoo. Cutting split ends really helps too. The best advice for not straightening it, but keeping it less frizzy it to use really good frizz-reducing products and using a diffuser to blow-dry the hair!

My cousin has this really curly frizzy hair she wants 2 straighten it..do u have anyother option?

japanese perm .......works like a charm

My cousin has this really curly frizzy hair she wants 2 straighten it..do u have anyother option?

first of all, she needs to have healthy hair to calm it down. my niece is only 2yrs old and she HAD really frizzy hair because of her light curls at the end of her hair. i give her raw egg to drink(she loves it, so thats a good thing). i wash her hair every other day, i dont comb it until it gets dry. she eats and drinks protein and her hair is now healthy and beautiful. but if your cousins hair is really curly she should ONLY finger comb it, wash it every other day, try different shampoo and conditioners(each for a week)and see which one leaves it the softes, and after conditioning dont FULLY rince it out...leave a very little bit in. eat right...drink raw egg 2-3 times a week(its not that bad) if you want to do it the fast way; dont mix it just drink it FAST in one swallow. DONT put tight pony tails. use a pantene pro-v flexible hair spray(it doesnt leave the hair stiff and hard) it leaves it bouncy. and try using the 'leave in conditioner' by ganier frutis. i hope that this helps...good luck

Anyone here know anything about curly synthetic hair?

ok im getting a tree braid weave with curly synthetic hair, i need to know about washing and combing it cause ive had bad luck with fake hair so i dont wanna mes this one up

any advice?

Anyone here know anything about curly synthetic hair?

synthetic is FAKE? wash in WooLite! it wont hurt your natural hair and is the best for the weave. DO NOT scrub the scalp, start at the bottom and work the shampoo/soap up from the bottom, if you need to work the scalp area, be very carefull. The Woolite is gentle enough not to stress the scalp area and strong enough to cleanse both FAKE and REAL hairs on your head. Follow with a spray on "Leave in" conditioner.

Anyone here know anything about curly synthetic hair?

Wash gently with a mild shampoo. I prefer non-conditioning shampoos because they don't leave as much build-up or residue on the hair. Make sure you follow-up with a few drops of a pure silicone serum like Simply Stylin Silk (www.simplystylinhair.com). It adds a shiny coating back to the hair and protects it from the environment.

How to get curly/wavy hair overnight?

How can i get curly/way hair without using curling iron or braids (they always turned out ugly for me) ??

My hair is really coarse, thick and straight.

Like I could wash it and let it air dry and it will be almost pin-straight straight. I was hoping for something i could do overnight and sleep in...

How to get curly/wavy hair overnight?

you can put your hair in rollers like these

http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/im...

and sleep with them on

you should get the flexible kind so itll be more comfortable

How to get curly/wavy hair overnight?

put your hair up in a bun .

:]

How to get curly/wavy hair overnight?

Some hair curlers for big noticable curls, and braids for wavy styles.

How to get curly/wavy hair overnight?

Well, I have naturally curly hair and I would suggest putting foam curlers in overnight or go get a perm.

How to get curly/wavy hair overnight?

Miss Jessie's products might work for you. They specialize in curly/kinky hair. They also have a salon. Hope it helps. www.missjessies.com

How to get curly/wavy hair overnight?

put hair mousse in there for defining curls, when you jump out of the shower flick you head over scruch it in your hair and it will look awsome for the whole day!!!

How to get curly/wavy hair overnight?

Sponge rollers work best if you can get your hair around them.

How to get curly/wavy hair overnight?

I have hair like yours - and I use long thin (less than an inch in diameter) perm rod style rollers. I got mine from Target and they are called Spiral Rollers by Conair. You put in setting lotion, then wind your hair around them when it is wet. You can either blow dry or sleep on them overnight.

These will get your hair REALLY curly to be prepared :-). My curls lasted 2 full days until I washed it.

How to get curly/wavy hair overnight?

You can French braid it. Sleep in them and take them out in the morning. You should make yours hair damp before you go to bed too. If you don't know how here is an instructional video. It taught me how to do it in about 15 minutes.

Here is the link:

How to get curly/wavy hair overnight?

Put your hair up..Exspecially if it's wet.

How to get curly/wavy hair overnight?

DON'T braid it! unless you want to look like a mermaid. wash your hair and while it's still damp, split your hair down the middle. coil one half into a clockwise bun and fasten, then coil the other half counterclockwise and fasten. i ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS do this and always love the results.

My hair is super curly but i really dont like using goop if i can help it. I straighten it sometimes but it takes a while cause i have a ton of hair and it fries it too. All i want is something that doesnt make it feel gross or look gross without damaging it. I NEED HELP!!!

I have really curly, frizzy hair what can i use that wont make it look all greasy and yucky?

The Garnier Fructis Sleek %26amp; Shine products are incredible depending on which you use.

the smoothing milk is amazing.

I have really curly, frizzy hair what can i use that wont make it look all greasy and yucky?

Thick & curly, dry brittle hair.?

I have extremely thick long red curly natural hair that is extremely dry. I have tried several deep conditioners and everything I have tried will just improve it for one day. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Thick %26amp; curly, dry brittle hair.?

when you are first out of the shower (do not use hot water on hair but mildly warm) seal the moisture in with some baby lotion (its cheaper than serums) or a good hair serum. Biosilk is great for your texture hair. I use lotion and serum. I also have curly thick hair and not my hair is soft and silky feeling... I got this advice from watching the style channel

Thick %26amp; curly, dry brittle hair.?

u use some lime time u bath n wash ur hair with it.. it smell nice.. :-)

Thick %26amp; curly, dry brittle hair.?

go to ur local pharmacy or grocery store and look for any of the following:

panteen

johnson and johnson(baby shampoo haven't u noticed that babys have the softest ahir and thats the most used shampoo on babies)

or any kids shampoo

any hair sray or creams w/e that say soft hair sometimes the stuff thats the cheapest works the best or mabey try to go to a place were they sell weird and diffrent hair supplies w/ brands not normally found sometimes tey work the best. =)

Thick %26amp; curly, dry brittle hair.?

Dry hair may result from too much washing, harsh detergents, a dry environment, inadequate diet, or underlying conditions, such as those due to malnutrition or metabolic diseases.

Shampoo less frequently, perhaps only once or twice a week and add conditioners. You should also avoid blow drying and harsh styling products. If the problem persists, you should probably call your doctor.

Thick %26amp; curly, dry brittle hair.?

My hair isn't like yours, but I do know what works for me. I used to use an all-in-one shampoo, but now I use Fructis. They have several types of shampoos and conditioners, and you pick the one that's most closely related to your hair type. They also have another conditioner I really like that comes in a small jar ("Fortifying Deep Conditioner"). My daughter also uses Fructis, and although she has totally different type hair than I do, it also works well for her. Worth a try!

Thick %26amp; curly, dry brittle hair.?

Hi! I have suggested this once before. I was a beauty school student. We used a conditioner called cholesterol. There are many brands, the one i use is Queen helene. You can buy it at most beauty supply stores. They may have it at walmart, target even walgreens! wash your hair. Generously rub into the scalp, and all over the hair.I would put a plastic bag over your hair. leave the bag on for a while, rinse. I have the same type of hair, thick and i color it. coloring dry's it out! Good Luck Dorothy

Thick %26amp; curly, dry brittle hair.?

Try the trick in the source, it should be able to help your hair in a couple of weeks.

HELP with thick, curly, frizzy, hair?

My hair is all gorss i dont know whta to do with it. i usally wear is stright but it ends up getting all curly by the middle of the day what do i do. i got some hair stuff but it doesnt help.. so can you help me?

HELP with thick, curly, frizzy, hair?

My hair is the same as yours, but this product is very THE BEST and unless you sweat a lot or walk in the rain, the results last all day! After you wash and dry your hair use it on smaller segments until you've done it to your whole head of hair. I have long hair to the middle of my back and I can straighten my hair in 10-minutes, so it really does not take long. It won't burn your hair like a curling iron because it is ceramic. This product is worth every penny it costs. If it breaks you can send it back and every time they will fix it for a flat $35. My on-off switch broke once but it was my fault because I dropped it hard by accident. Many places sell it but I got mine from this website:

http://www.folica.com/CHI_Ceramic_Fla_d1...

HELP with thick, curly, frizzy, hair?

I have the same hair. I use extra strengh Frizz-eaze to prevent fly aways and keep the hair clean and shiny...as for the ends, find a good hair spray or use Sebastian's Flattining Fluid. Its excellent.

HELP with thick, curly, frizzy, hair?

you should accentuate the thickness and curliness of your hair. use a frizz free serum to make it look soft and shiny. then add structured curls by using an iron or curlers. your hair will look a lot healthier and not like you tried so hard.

Curly scene hair?

i love the way scen hair looks. are there anyways to get curly scene hair. (girl btw

Curly scene hair?

You can't get curly scene hair.

The point of scene hair is its supposed to be straight and over the eye to a certain extent.

Good Luck though閳?br>

But I guess this is the best you can get.

http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h...

Curly scene hair?

Well, if you have a cool persona, and you're pretty, you could get it cut like "scene hair" and just keep it curly.

You may be able to pull it off.

Curly scene hair?

i have curly scene hair. i just straighten my bangs and let the rest go wild. it looks really cool. and the best part is nobody else has it.

Curly scene hair?

um idk ask a hairdresser at like an expensive hair care place

they always have the best ways of doing things

Curly scene hair?

lol, yeah.. many scene people have the straight hair..

you could straighten your bangs and leave your hair curly at the back ,

or cut it shorter and have a little 'fro going on.. :)

Curly scene hair?

In order to actually have "scene" hair you can't have it curly.

I would recommend if you have the money to get it chemically straightened or buy a professional flat iron. I know they can be a bit pricey but its so worth it because your hair will straighten extremely quickly with a higher tempurature and cheap flat irons won't do it.

Also make sure you have a heat protective spray or liquid if you plan on regularly straightening.

I would recommend the t3 babyliss wet to dry flat iron.

How to make my curly wavy hair straight?

when i take a showerr, my hair dries curly or wavy (depending on the day). I really want silky straight hair. I already straighten my hair a lottt and i reallly dont want to damage it. so besides striaghtening it, and getting it chemically straightened, what can i do?? (i recently bought expensive straightening shampoo but i dont feel like it has worked that well). SOMEONE HELP!.

How to make my curly wavy hair straight?

i use sunsilk straighting shampoo and conditioner its in a dark purple bottle

then after my hair dyes i straighten it with a hair straightener

I HAVE SUPER THICK CURLY POOFY HAIR! How do I make my hair not poof???

I have super thick, curly, poofy, frizzy hair. I normally use Sunsilk anti-poof shampoo and conditoner and then i put in the anti friiz creme and anti poof creme but, once my hair dries it POOFS UP!!!!! Is there any special kind of product I should use to make my hair not poofy at all???

I HAVE SUPER THICK CURLY POOFY HAIR! How do I make my hair not poof???

- Read the book and visit the sites below about curly hair. I did and my once horrible curly hair is now virtually frizz-free ringlets. Now I get compliments on my hair all the time! Straighten your hair- be happy for a day, learn to manage your curly hair- be happy for life!

- To style your hair using the curly-girl method you will need gel, a leave in cream, and conditioner at the minimum. Some less useful, but still nice stuff would be a blowdryer, a diffuser (reduces frizz in curly/wavy hair when used with dryer), and a microfiber hair turban (to dry wet hair while sleeping or in the morning).

-The main philosophy of the curly-girl method is to not use shampoo. This may sound unhygenic but it has actually made my hair less oily and dandruffy. Most shampoos contain some of the same chemicals found in laundry detergent (aka sodium laureth sulfate or anything close to that). They dry out curly hair. Also you shouldn't brush your curly hair dry because it damages the hair and makes it poof.

- Massaging of the scalp with conditioner to remove dirt is all that is needed. It will clean everything but super clingy silicones (cyclopentasiloxane and dimethicone are examples). Then rinse and spread conditioner on the outside layer of hair and the hair at the nape of your neck. Gently comb tangles out with your fingers or a wide toothed comb and rinse with cold/cool water.

- Do not brush/comb your hair after this point because it wil disturb the curl pattern (make sure you already have a part). It is also important to use gel on sopping wet hair and scrunch the hair with your fingers. Make sure gel is distributed everywhere in your hair. If you use too much you can always scrunch out the crunchy texture later.

- Use paper towels or an old t-shirt to gently scrunch some of the water out (generic towels can make hair frizz). Then let your hair air dry or wait ten minutes and then use a blowdryer with a diffuser. Do not touch the hair while it is air drying or it will frizz!

- Use a moisturizing conditioner, such as Desert Essence Organics Italian Red Grape Conditioner (found at health food/organic stores). The combo of products that I use daily is L'Oreal Out of Bed Weightless Texturizer (comes in a black-colored tub) and then Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Gel but there are more conditioners, gels, etc. on the websites.

- I advise against thinning b/c it will make your ends ratty. Your hair may seem worse at first, but it is just adjusting. This may take 2 to 4 weeks to begin working. I suggest doing a final cleanse with shampoo and stopping the use of any products with silicone in them before if you decide to no-poo. Hope this helps!

I HAVE SUPER THICK CURLY POOFY HAIR! How do I make my hair not poof???

BUY A REVLON HAIR STRAIGHTENER. THOSE ARE THE BEST! 20 DOLLARS ON AMAZON.

I HAVE SUPER THICK CURLY POOFY HAIR! How do I make my hair not poof???

First you need to start with a great hair cut. A bad stlyist can actually make your hair much worse. second you need to be sure you are moisturizing your hair. You need to make sure you are not washing your hair to often witch can servely damage your hair causeing it to be frizzy, Do not use product that dry your hair. Redken makes a great produt called glass. and has a whole line for curly hair. It rocks. also bumble and bumble is a awsome line that you might want to try out.

I HAVE SUPER THICK CURLY POOFY HAIR! How do I make my hair not poof???

Oh wow!My mom has the same kind of hair.I guess straiten the hair perhaps.Oh and DONT take a shower before you sleep. If it is wet b4 you sleep,in the morning it turns REALLY puffy and frizzy. That is all i can suggest.

I HAVE SUPER THICK CURLY POOFY HAIR! How do I make my hair not poof???

I HIGHLY suggest using Bumble and Bumble hair products. They are professionally made, and are great products. These products are a little more expensive than others, but are worth every penny. They also last a really long time if used sparingly. If these products cannot be bought, still follow these steps using different products.

Begin by getting your hair cut/trimmed by a professional stylist. They will also thin it, which will help with a lot of the extra bulk in your locks.

1. Wash hair well with Bumble and Bumble's Curl Conscious Shampoo. Apply a small amount to palms and rub gently onto scalp and hair. Using fingertips massage your scalp and rinse well afterwards.

2. If you are going to use a conditioner, (I recommend using only 2-3 times a week) follow after shampoo. Use Curl Conscious Conditioner for Medium to Thick Hair. Use a small amount and apply to your hair. Do not rub into your scalp. Leave in for 1-2 minutes and rinse with cool water. Rinsing with cool water will allow most of the nutrients to be absorbed and not washed away.

3. If you are styling your hair curly, scrunch dry and apply Curl Conscious Styling cr鐚玬e. You can also add any of their mousse/hairspray to add firm hold. Leaning over and letting your hair fall upside down, scrunch your hair upwards towards the top of your head using your fingertips, while blow-drying.

If you are styling your hair straight, follow steps one and two, but using a different shampoo/conditioner. Any of the Bumble and Bumble ones are great.

1. Apply a small amount of Bumble and Bumble 閳ユソtraight閳?onto palms of hands, and work through damp hair.

2. Blow-dry with your fingertips until mostly dry, and then finish by using a round or paddle brush. Because your hair is so thick, I would recommend doing it in sections.

3. Using a flat iron (I strongly recommend a CHI.) straighten your hair in small sections, combing/brushing through as you go.

If desired, you can add a finishing touch by using the Bumble and Bumble Defrizz. This is a great tool for those extra hairs that never seem to stay down! =)

I hope these tips help. I wrote them myself, but the products can be bought at www.bumbleandbumble.com I know it can be a pain to have to spend extra money on hair products, but they really do work, and it閳ユ獨 really worth it. I can promise you閳ユ獟l be happy. If you cannot purchase these products, don閳ユ獩 stress, just follow the same steps I gave, just using different products. (these are just my favorites) I wish you the best of luck閳ヮ泧nd if you need any more help, tips, or advice on products, let me know!

I have curly frizzy hair and i dont know how to tame it...plz help.?

My hair is rly curly and cant forget frizzy...i hate it i straighten it sometimes but it takes up to much time so i usually leave it in a bun. but i dont like it like that way. i want to be able to leave it down and not look so frizzy and dryed out...i want it to be shiny and well just nautral.

oh and another thing if i brush it or even try to run my fingers through it turns into nothing but frizz....and it is HUGE. i hate my hair.

I have curly frizzy hair and i dont know how to tame it...plz help.?

I have natural curly hair too! This is hard sometimes. It's so hard to keep your hands out of it. I have found two good products I like. Here is what I do...After I shampoo %26amp; condition, I put on a deep conditioner (this is a little expensive sometimes, but worth it). I either use Samy brand or Dove Deep Conditioner. Then I put in Samy Silk anti-frizz smoothing serum throughout my hair after I take it out of the towel. I then spray it all over with Dove Leave-In Replenishing Mist (Both are at Wal-mart). I then add my gel and get a hand-towel and scrunch it with the towel to absorb the extra water and to set the curls. Then I either let it air dry ( a little more frizzy) or I use one of those bowl diffusers with my dryer ($6.00) @ Walmart). My hair usually turns out with soft curls that are springy and they don't get real frizzy. Sounds like a lot and time-consuming, but it only takes me 5-10 min max. Hope this helps.

I have curly frizzy hair and i dont know how to tame it...plz help.?

Do a hot oil treatment, that should work. Or get some anti frizz stuff.

I have curly frizzy hair and i dont know how to tame it...plz help.?

Work with it, not against it....When you wash your hair you need to press it dry with a chamois cloth (like you dry your car with). Use Gel to style it....don't EVER brush it. If it's too uncontrollable long, try wearing it really short......Find a GOOD stylist who can teach you how to work with it....

I have curly frizzy hair and i dont know how to tame it...plz help.?

Go to a salon and have a "hair relaxer" service done

I have curly frizzy hair and i dont know how to tame it...plz help.?

buy specail shampoo and conditionar thats for that purpose of frizzy hair. and at the slones they have gel to tame your frizzyness down so it looks healthy, shinny and gorgous.. good luck

I have curly frizzy hair and i dont know how to tame it...plz help.?

My friend has the same problem. When do you wash it? morning or night? She washes hers @ night and then towel dries it and sleeps with it wet so it can air dry. Blow drying big poofy frizzy hair is a no no. Also try that hair serum stuff after you wash it. it can help smooth down hair and keep it calm and under control!

I have curly frizzy hair and i dont know how to tame it...plz help.?

i have the same prob and for the frizzie part some times i put a lil hand lotion on mine . and try not use the blowdryer b/c it makes it frizzey let it air dry as much as you can! also in the shower put shampoo in it when its dry and wash it out and it makes it shiney

GOOD LUCK (hope this helped a little)

I have curly frizzy hair and i dont know how to tame it...plz help.?

Sunsilk De-Frizz Shampoo, Conditioner and 24/7 Creme. lol i know it sounds like much but if its really that bad I'd use it.

I have curly frizzy hair and i dont know how to tame it...plz help.?

sameeee here. i cut most of it off but i regret it

my sister does this tho, get the garnier curly and shiny line. they have soo many products for our type of hair!!

I have curly frizzy hair and i dont know how to tame it...plz help.?

Best thing to do is braid it.. Like do cornrows at the front and braid it into sections in the back. thats what i do. Im biracial so my hair is really curly and frizy (you name it lol) so I find it easier in braids, dont have to worry about all that fuss. But when I do where it down I use moose in my hair and it defines the curls and takes the frizz away. You wet your hair first then apply the moose all over your hair and it will make the curls more bouncier and shiny and the best thing is there is no frizz! The product is called curl enhancing mousse. By suave professionals. And it does wonders on mine. I get tons of complements on my curly hair. I use to hate it because i (like you) didnt know how to control my hair. My friend has hair like mine and she introduced me to using curl enhancing mousse and it works sooo good. YOu can get it at Zellers, Wallmart.. any big brand name store. Or you can use gell. It makes it crunchy though (which i hate) but it doesnt frizz and thats the only good thing. IF your desperate. But for now just like braid it into tiny sections and cornrow it at the front.. its soo much easier. And it looks great.

I have curly frizzy hair and i dont know how to tame it...plz help.?

relax it with a chemical relaxer. The safe, expensive way is to get it done in the salon. It costs the same as a perm. The cheap way (ten dollars or less), is a home relaxer kit you can purchase in a grocery or discount chain. I have used many and my favorite is Dr. Miracle's which is sold at wal-mart. trouble is, some people's hair can't take it, so it is important that you strand test first if you are doing it at home - so you do not wind up with fried hair or bald. If you are not african-american (and I assume you are not, or you already would know about hair relaxers), you will have to leave the relaxer in your hair for less time than instructed or you will fry your hair. The Dr. Miracle's is supposed to stay in for 13-20 minutes depending on hair type, and I do 10-12 minutes. You might want to start out with even less time and see what happens. If you do fry your hair, it comes back quite nicely if you saturate your hair with a high-quality deep conditioner and put it under a shower cap for an hour, then rinse and repeat. The relaxers are sold in the ethnic hair care section.

Whether or not you use a relaxer, your hair type does well with lots of leave - in product. Sunsilk makes a leave - in in a blue bottle called "anti-poof", parneveau (also in ethnic section) makes a good leave - in for extra dry hair, and frizz eaze, TX, and Got 2 Be all make good leave - in hair serums. These are all to be applied when wet; to stop frizz on an emergency basis during the day when your hair is already dry, use frizz-eaze Secret Weapon. This is all from personal experience, and every product I have mentioned is widely available at pharmacies, groceries, and discount chains and is reasonably priced.

I have curly frizzy hair and i dont know how to tame it...plz help.?

Hey girl!

I have naturally curley hair and I had the same problem with my hair being frizzy and dried out. My girlfriend hipped me to a hair product called "Volumax", it comes in a big black bottle with a big "V" on the front. There are several products, but the one you want to buy is the "Glaze". You can by it at any Sally Beauty supply store it costs about $6.00 for a big bottle. What I do it wash my hair and while my hair is wet I part my hair into four sections and I saturate my enire hair with the Volumax from the root to the tip. Then I use a Waffle brush/comb and comb through my hair to make sure that there aren't any tangles, then I hairspray my hair all over making sure to lift up the top of my hair and get the hair underneth and let it air dry. It makes my hair so shiney and healthy. Total time to do this takes me about 20 min, and I have long curley hair. Also, don't wash your hair every day. Doing so takes all of the natural moisture out of your hair. Try washing your hair 2-3 times a week. Good luck!!

I have curly frizzy hair and i dont know how to tame it...plz help.?

Hot Oil Hair Treatment

21 min 1 min prep

Change to: treatment US Metric

4 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons honey

2-3 drops essential oils

Put honey, oil and essential oil in a plastic bag.

Twist but don't tie.

Pour boiling water in a mug.

Add plastic bag to mug until it warms up.

Apply gently to wet hair.

Don't pour it on your head, put the mixture on your hands and apply to all of your hair.

I have curly frizzy hair and i dont know how to tame it...plz help.?

first get good stuff to make it not curl

then you need to use a straightener everyday! \

help with my questions please!

Short curly red hair?

my hair is really, really curly and red, not 2 metion short! i hate it alot. it grows completely uneven. it is so hard 2 grow out cause i have 2 keep cutting it over and over, so wat can i do 2 it?

Short curly red hair?

one thing you can do is, straighten it. if you go to the hair salon, they will do it for you. if you don't like the colour then dye it. if you go to the colour brown, with a red tint, then that will look good. you can als try short hair extentions. not reall long ones, but that might work. good luck

Short curly red hair?

see a dermatoligist

Short curly red hair?

Let it grow out un-even, not a huge deal, just tie it back for like, a week or two.

Then trim it.

keep doing this for a couple months, and soon it will be the desired length.

And just be glad you have red hair--it's the hottest new hair color :)

good luck xo

Short curly red hair?

u just find a short hair cut u like

Short curly red hair?

Ask a hair stylelist.

Short curly red hair?

try using a hair straightener. But also use hair treatment at the same time or else it will ruin your hair. and try getting bangs, and defiantly straighten them.

Short curly red hair?

Let it grow out and go get it professionally straightened at the salon. (it last for a long time and worth it) or use a straight iron. But you have to buy a good one not a cheap one or it will not work. Go to Sally Hansen. I got one there called Helen Of Troy. I love it. I have such thick hair and it's unruly. I love the straight iron. It works great. You will have to section your hair and straighten section by section.

Short curly red hair?

WELCOME TO MY WORLD!

I would wake up looking like Bozo the clown!

My hair (before) was so curly I often refered to my hair as Jimi Hendrix on Crack. Only red of course (thanks to my Irish heritage). It would grow really slow because of breakage - super dry - split ends everywhere - WHAT TO DO?!!!

I finally decided to fix the problem.

I would have it trimmed (and I mean TRIMMED - about 1/2 an inch) every 8 weeks. Once a week I would give my hair a hot oil treatment (naturally - heat up extra virgin olive oil instead of the store bought treatments... more natural, cheaper, and you can adjust the amout you want). After it finally got long enough (touching my shoulders when it was wet) I started using John Freida's anti frizz serum, and would straighten my hair with my curling iron after it would dry naturally. (I used the curling iron because it dosen't get as hot as my straightning iron).

Then I went to the salon and had highlights put in and it really made my hair look a lot healthier.

This is what worked for me - each person is different...

GOOD LUCK!

Short curly red hair?

let it grow out and don't cut for awhile or just get extensions in your hair.....

I have curly frizzy hair. I'm sick of it. Should I cut it?

I wanted it drastically cut, right now its just below my shoulders when its curly, but i want it shorter.

also, should i get bangs?

i am willing to straigten it if i get my hair thinned and if it's shorter, but right now there is so much of it i can never straighten my hair in time for school

I have curly frizzy hair. I'm sick of it. Should I cut it?

Just get it thinned and the dead ends cut off. Believe me its a big big difference.

I have curly frizzy hair. I'm sick of it. Should I cut it?

if you have a good/experienced stylist, talk to her. But just remember that it is going to be a lot of work to flat iron your hair every day (not to mention damaging). Try some different styling product before you just go chop it off. Aveda has an entire line dedicated to curly hair. It's called Be Curly and consists of a shampoo, conditioner, and 2 styling products (one for wet and one for dry hair). Aveda.com for salons or ordering products on-line.

I have curly frizzy hair. I'm sick of it. Should I cut it?

My hair used to be like yours. I don't think you should cut %26amp; straighten it. You'll damage your hair lots. I know how you feel though, sometimes curly hair can be a pain in the *** but you gotta learn to love it (: What you should do is get Sebastian Potion 9. That thing is like magic. Just apply it to damp hair. Then apply a strong curl mousse to hold your curls and keep them from frizzing up. After that, use hairspray and your done. Also, if you let your hair grow out longer, it'll weigh down the curls which will help get rid of frizz. Hope this helps (:

I have curly frizzy hair. I'm sick of it. Should I cut it?

All you really need is a very good conditioner and a good straightener. Bangs are in style right now so go for it.

As a professional Hairstylist please believe me on this.....there is no thinning. There is layering and then there is thinning sheers. The thinning sheers to don't get rid of the frizziness much of the time it will make it worse and it also creates more bulk because the longer hair will sit on top of the shorter hair which creates more "puff"

Condition condition condition

When you are using a straightener make sure that your hair has no moister in it so that you do not singe,

always always start at the scalp and work your way down, but do not do your ends until you have gone through the whole head because people tend to go over and over the ends which causes a lot of damage. save the ends for the end.

I have curly frizzy hair. I'm sick of it. Should I cut it?

be careful with thinning your hair. on curly, frizzy hair, it can make it look more frizzy. thinning creates shorter hair all over

the thinning shears cut every other hair. this makes the strands that it cuts, shorter, which causes, yes, more frizz.

also, be careful how short u go because your hair will curl up and look shorter, when not flat ironed.

when your hair is flat ironed, at bed time, wrap you hair and tie it down with a scarf. in the morning, just comb it out. it should still be smooth and flat. .if u need help wrapping it. let me know.

I have curly frizzy hair. I'm sick of it. Should I cut it?

I have the same crappy problem sadly..well whatever you do do not cut it...i made that mistake and it was horrible just grow it out a lil bit and the curls will straighten a lil bit

i also want to get bangs and im not so sure, i only have till monday to decide, im thinking of doing it and straighting them out

Need help with curly, puffy hair?

My hair is naturally curly and it looks good when its wet, so how can i get my hair not so puffy and frizzy... i like when its wet and i scrunch it, but when it dries, it gets puffy and really frizzy. What can i do to it to get it not to be like that

Need help with curly, puffy hair?

Honestly, it all depends on the type of hair that it is. Is it fine or coarse? If your hair is fine, you might want to use a a light oil sheen to calm the frizzies. If it's coarse, you can use a heavier product like carrot oil or vitamin D oil. Biosilk by Farouk makes a great oil based product called silk therapy. It will make your hair soft, smell good, and it will tame the frizzies. You should also use an anti- humectant shampoo and conditioner.

Need help with curly, puffy hair?

Try using some L'oreal Tecni Curl Memory Down Cream. Spray on some leave in conditioner.

Here's how you do it:

Put the cream in your hand and work it into your hair. Twist and scrunch your hair into locks and into your desired shape. Once it is shaped and you are happy with how it looks, spray on about 3-5 sprays of leave in conditioner, depending on your hairs length. It will dry to be nice and curly, with really defined curls.

The cream costs a little more but it really pays off. I use it and now my hair looks fabulous. Also make sure you use hydrating shampoos.

Need help with curly, puffy hair?

You should try John Freda Frizz Ease Products First shampoo condition then apply a generous amount of the frizz ease serum and blow dry using a diffuser

Need help with curly, puffy hair?

My hair is the exact same way. you cant really do much but use hair care products.when i use a certain type of gel, my hair isnt as puffy, thick, or frizzy. just make sure you dont brush it...

How can the volume of curly, long hair be controlled?

I love my hair being curly and for the past year I've let it grow out from the relaxer treatments I was giving it. When I relaxed it the volume of it was controlled but I stopped because I heard how bad it was for the health of the hair. Now the hair around my head sticks is super big! So...I'm on a hunt for answers.

I'm latin(gives you idea of hair), have thick hair, want to control volume WITHOUT losing curls. Is it impossible?

How can the volume of curly, long hair be controlled?

start with the cut. get it cut with a razor by a stylist. they cut using a razor instead of scissors to control thickness and make it mroe manageable.

it all depends on what products you use on your hair. Start with John-Freida frizz ease serum on damp hair. then use a a little mousse that is specific for curl hair.

my friend uses this product called Sedal- Hydraloe leave-in for curly/wavy hair. It's amazing. It's part curling activator/ hair moisturiser. Put this in your hair %26amp;you don't need anything else. It makes curls more defined and not frizzy at all. Don't kno if you'd be able to find that product though that easily where you are though.

Afro/caribean curly(ish) hair quirey?

i have curly ish hair, and i am wanting to help define and accentuate the curls, has anyone got any products that do this, hopefully, without making it look greasy?

Afro/caribean curly(ish) hair quirey?

It depends on if your hair gets easily weighed down. And whether your hair is more on the wavy or curly side.

I would avoid using any/all products with mineral oil and petroleum. Those way down the hair and make it look greasy, and block moisture from the hair.

You could try Jessicurl products. Particularly the TooShea conditioner and the Confident Coils. The TooShea is a rinse out conditioner that can be left in, and the Confident Coils is a curl defining lotion/gel that brings out the curls. You can purchase samples and trial bottles from http://www.jessicurl.com

Another product you could try is CURLS Souffle. It helps define the curls without weighing them down. I would recommend the thicker version of this but I don't know exactly how tight your hair is, its porosity, condition, or whether it gets weighed down easily. You can also buy samples from their website: http://www.curls.biz

You'll have to experiment to find what works best for your hair, as most products are not "one size fits all".

Also, check out http://www.naturallycurly.com/phpBB

This site has alot of information about curly/wavy hair and maybe you'll be able to find someone with similar hair and can recommend products/routines.

Help with a curly-wirey hair somewhere in between....?

I have the weirdest hair. Can anyone tell me what kind of shampoo to use and what kind of oil / hair care to get. I do also got chronic dandruff. I used to have a curly smooth hair, but now it is a mess. Please help.

Help with a curly-wirey hair somewhere in between....?

Alot of people have a variation of hair types in on their head. I would suggest you try using a organic shampoo that is made for dandruff, also tee tree oil is good for dandruff. And When choosing oils/moisturizer go with something that is light but adds shine. I like Kemi Oyl, Carrot Oil, or a Mink Oil Sheen. For different ways to style ethnic curly hair go to www. missjessies.com, they sell products for culry ethnic hair, and have step by step instruction on a couple of styling options. Here is a list of products that you can easily find that I love.

GNC ( Organic Shampoo and Conditioners):

-Nature's Gate Rainwater Tea tree oil Shampoo and Conditoner

-Avalon product line; Scalp treatment, tea tree

Walmart/any general store:

-Herbal Essence Totally Twisted Collection

-Herbal Essence Hello Hydration Collection

-Motions Foam Wrap Lotion for styling curls

-Curl Wax

-Kemi Oyl for moisture/shine

-Elasta QP Leave In Conditioner

-and a good set of hot curlers for styling

I use olive oil shampoo, it comes in a pack! You can get the grease, shampoo, conditioner, and hair grow back treatment too.Its really good to use! But if youre not sure the best thing to do is go to the hair store and ask one of the people working there.

Help with a curly-wirey hair somewhere in between....?

You need a deep conditioner. Your scalp is being robbed of nutrients. Spend a little more on your hair care products next time... and slowly your scalp will come back to health.

I have wavy/curly/frizzy hair?

i straighten it every day i hate my hair, some weeks i let i just be curly.... but when i straighten it, it feels stiff at the ends, and it kinda looks dul and un natural what can i use to make it look better and yes i try to make it to the hair cutters once a month :D i use chi when i straighten my hair

I have wavy/curly/frizzy hair?

Now everyone knows scrunching your hair leaves it flakey and stiff because of the jell or mouse or even worse it falls out after only half a day. However there is a product out there ladies you can use to leave your hair with the scrunch or curly look but not with that unwanted flakey, hard hair. It is called Softee(proteen gel). You can get it at Family Dollar or Wal-mart. Its just a couple of bucks for a large amount. While your hair is wet apply a fair amount of Softee to your hair from root to ends. Brush it trough with your fingers. The from end to root scrunch you hair over and over and over. Since you have naturally curly hair just allow your hair to dry natural. But for fun if you want you can blow dry your hair upside down while scrunching it at the same time. You end result will be beautiful wavy, curly, scruchy hair that is soft not hard and not freezy. Try it out sometime I think you will like it. And good Luck.
