use a strong hold mousse like got2b glued or biolage and a gel. don't be afraid to use gel to scrunch. get a volumizing spray..i like aussie aussome volume

there is this hairspray that i use that is called rusk. if you get the atomizer it basically cements your hair in place.

I would suggest getting a curl enhancing cream and applying it to your hair after you wash it. When your hair is dry [before you curl it] it will already look more curly. Try holding the curling iron on your hair for a few seconds longer then you usually do. Also, never brush your hair out after you curl it--just break it up with your fingers a little bit. Brushing it causes it to look flat.
