Your trying to have straight hair not curls so why would you use a curl activator? You need to cut your hair low and get a good stiff natural bristle brush, a wave cap and a can of wave grease. Apply water to the brush. Apply wave grease to the hair start brushing your hair in the direction of the waves. Brush a few times. Then place on wave cap. remove in a few hours and do the procedure over. You will start seeing waves in a few day if you have done it correctly.
