Afro/caribean curly(ish) hair quirey?

i have curly ish hair, and i am wanting to help define and accentuate the curls, has anyone got any products that do this, hopefully, without making it look greasy?

Afro/caribean curly(ish) hair quirey?

It depends on if your hair gets easily weighed down. And whether your hair is more on the wavy or curly side.

I would avoid using any/all products with mineral oil and petroleum. Those way down the hair and make it look greasy, and block moisture from the hair.

You could try Jessicurl products. Particularly the TooShea conditioner and the Confident Coils. The TooShea is a rinse out conditioner that can be left in, and the Confident Coils is a curl defining lotion/gel that brings out the curls. You can purchase samples and trial bottles from http://www.jessicurl.com

Another product you could try is CURLS Souffle. It helps define the curls without weighing them down. I would recommend the thicker version of this but I don't know exactly how tight your hair is, its porosity, condition, or whether it gets weighed down easily. You can also buy samples from their website: http://www.curls.biz

You'll have to experiment to find what works best for your hair, as most products are not "one size fits all".

Also, check out http://www.naturallycurly.com/phpBB

This site has alot of information about curly/wavy hair and maybe you'll be able to find someone with similar hair and can recommend products/routines.
