I dont' really know what it's for in general but what would it do for curly and frizzy hair? Is it worth getting one? will i want to wear my hair curly more often?

It makes your hair curlier without frizzing up. It is really worth getting one.. I just recently started using one and I love it! (I live in a humid area and I still like using it.) Make sure you put mousse (or gel.. but I prefer mousse because it doesn't make my hair stiff) on before using the diffuser...
Oh and make sure you but your dryer on low.. not high - when using the diffuser.

Coming from a chick that lives in Humid climate and has curly/frizzy hair no its not worth the purchase. It's nothing you can't achieve with a little hair gel and some hairspray.

a diffuser is really designed for curly and frizzy hair. because you dont want the air pressure from a normal dryer to break up the curls a diffuser just allows it to dry your hair without flatting the curl. i would recommend it if you want to wear your hair curly.

I have curly hair too. I use a diffuser all the time. If you use it, it should turn out fine, just dont put your hairdryer on high, or else your hair will look fryed. A diffuser just lets out the heat, not the air. This way the air will not make your hair frizzy or poofy. You can also ask your hair dresser for advice too. Good luck!

A diffuser is generally a healthy way to get your hair dry. The good thing about the diffuser is it keeps your hairs natural curls in place, some say it defines the curls. That's about all I know.
