I need help with my curly frizzy hair!!!!?

My hair is really curly and if I do not put anything in it then it gets really frizzy. I usually always have to put lots of mousse and hairspray so it doesn't get frizzy but I hate having the wet look!!!! How can I get my hair to still be curly and not frizzy without having the wet look. I want it to look dry and curly without the frizz. Please help!!!

Alrighty.. I had the same problem.. and I hated the wet look I wish I had a scanner to show you my 8th grade graduation picture.. what a nightmare.. but through trial and error and beauty school i know of several ways to have it look pretty and natural.

First one is.. Shampoo and conditioner DO matter! I use "SAMY salon systems Moisturizing Shampoo" and "SAMY salon systems 3 MINUTE MIRACLE deep penetrating conditioner".. The Shampoo will run you about $4.49 at Walmart, and it came with a free condioner =) and it smells DELICIOUS.. okay second step after washing and conditioning, towel dry hair just a little bit so that it isnt dripping. Now there are a few products that you could use.. "Biosilk silk serem" its about $12 for a small bottle (but worth it) or if you look on the shelves of your haircare aisle you will notice products called "Defining curls, or smoothing curls, or frizz ease" they come in different brands for different prices and they are all about the same.. the thicker the texture of the product the better... so choose according to your wallet.. Next flip your head forward and rub it in your hair starting at the back.. and get even coverage.. then get a diffuser attachment to your blowdryer and blowdry the front and sides of your hair for about 5-10 minutes until mostly dry.. next spray (DO NOT USE AQUANET OR AN AEROSOL SPRAY) I recommend Suave in the spritzing bottle in any hold thats lower than Supermega..(you know what i mean..lol) and scrunch up your curls a little bit.. and when i say spray I mean about 3-4 spritzes where you get frizz.. and your done.

Second way I know is to blowdry the hair using a thermasilk defining curls product then follow up with a larger curling iron and do about 10 large curls around the head then use BioSilk silk serum and massage through.. perfection..

and last but not least.. using any kind of a smoothing curls product (its not a brandname, it comes in various product lines) while the hair is wet before you go to bed have a friend put your head in curlers and go to sleep (kinda annoying) and then when you wake up blowdry the curls a little then take out the curlers and viola.. massage a LITTLE product throughout and your done. When you rinse your condioner out put more in comb it through and leave it in.Dont put to much or it will be greasy.

they have no frizz oil, the one i use is called zero frizz, extra strength hair serum. try some of those they work good. but only put a little or you'll still get that wet look, eek.

Garnier Fructise is the best line for curly hair. The smoothing milk works great on my frizzies. Use the mousse but wait untill your hair is dry to put hairspray on it. Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine is the best spray to use while scrunching.

I have the same type of hair! But, i have figure out a solution. When you get out of the shower, towel dry your hair. Then, put in leave-in conditioner, especially toward the ends. After that, I put in Paul Mitchell medium hold moose- make sure every hair gets some on it. I usually part my hair to make sure that the moose is distributed evenly. Then, I use gel...not a lot, but just enough to keep the frizzies down. Hope it works for you :)
