My hair is naturally curly, but I am usually forced to wear it in a ponytail because of the way it poofs up and frizzes after drying. What can I do?

okay first of all you need to throw out the hair dryer, it causes frizz. when you wash your hair ALWAYS use COLD water. do NOT use frizzease it makes your hair oily and nasty and causes your forehead and face to break out. if you use a gel then make sure it has NO alchol ingredients. i have found the best thing to do is wash hair rinse with COLD water brush then apply COCO BUTTER LOTION and comb it through your hair with a wide tooth comb or brush. you don't want to brush your hair too much just enough to get the tangles out and to seperate your curls.... remember the more you seperate, the frizzier it gets. any lotions are okay as long as they are unfragranced and alchol free but i use coco butter and find it the best. try VO5 hot oil treatment as well, once a month.

You need to deep condition it at least once a week,use shampoos that are from a natural store,that do not contain chemicals which will make your frizz much much worse,get a good leave in conditioning styling mouse,and a diffuser,when your hair is wet put a little leave in conditioner in it,and then use a mouse to scrunch up your ends while drying it with a diffuser.
