The way my haridresser told me is to use a straightener.

You clamp the end of your hair in the hair striaghtener and twist the hair upwards until it reaches your skull. Then you hold it there for a while then you release it!!

In otherwords wrap your hair around the straightener!

Or you can use a curling iron or those rolling things! The braiding idea is good too!

It really depends on the texture of your hair. I use to have my sister help me braid it when it was damp, just re-wet it, no need to re-shower and put lots of little braids in your hair. When you wake up it will be really curly and cute. I love hot curlers too, those old school pink puffy ones. You put them on dry hair at night and you wake up with cute, curly hair. I don't know about the baby oil..seems like that would make your hair greasy. Good luck

Don't laugh it really works...Since you want to do it tonight so it's ready by tomorrow, curling iron is out, braids tend to leave more of a crimp and not a curl, foam rollers usually makes very tight curls and makes long hair reach your shoulders.

When I was a little girl my mom used to cut and old T-shirt or something like that into strips about 4 inches long and an inch wide. Wrap your hair around the pice od cloth and roll it as you would a roller all the way to your scalp. Tie it in a bow and when you take them out in the morning it leaves a very natural looking curl.

I do it to my 4 year old. She likes them because, unlike the foam rollers, they are comfortable to sleep in.
