i have thick, wavy hair. when i curl my hair with a curler its all curly, but when i go to sleep and wake up its all horrible and broken up curls and i go to school with a horribile hair style! HELP!!!!!!!
How do i get my hair curly without curling it?
this is what i do as soon soon as u wake up (eat breakfast after) is u get in thje shower %26amp; after putting conditioner in your brush it while still in the shower %26amp; part it the way u want it if u want 2 (i don't part i just let it fall into a place, but only when i do this hair style.) anyway, then put your hair upside down under the water and shake it %26amp; get all of the conditioner out of it. the ring while schrunching and wrap in towel for 1 min. then take it out %26amp; put just a little bit of voluminzing mouse. then separate your hair into 1-inch or 2-inch pieces %26amp; twist. pin up w/ bobby pins all over your head %26amp; hairspray.
let sit in hair while u get dressed, eat breakfast, do ur make-up (if u wear any) %26amp; wait till u are like getting ready to leave.
then take out the bobby pins but do not touch the twisties, put your head upside down again after taking all of the bobby pins out 2 loosen the twisties a little bit but not all the way. and put a little bit of hairspray again %26amp; go.
if u drive or get driven to school leave your hair in the twisties for longer curls %26amp; take out right b-4 u get 2 school %26amp; spray in parking lot or bathroom. but if u ride the bus or walk i do not suggest u keep the twisties in longer because they look pretty funny.
p.s. curling your hair %26amp; then going to bed. do not expect them to still look good in the morning.
good luck w/ your hair and the hair style i gave you is a curling style not a crunchy looking hair style if u know what i mean.
there are a lot of steps to this hair style but it is really fast. if u don't have time to take a shower in the morning then wet your hair really good %26amp; do the same steps.

Shower in the morning, towel dry your hair, mousse it, and scrunch. This should make it curly but natural because you already have wavy hair

after you come out of the shower leave your hair in a towel for like 10 minutes then put mouse or gel in your hair %26amp; make 2 braids by seperatgin your hair into 2 sections, if you want it extra curled you could do 1 whole french braid or seperate your hair in half nd make 2 french braids; then take out the braides in the morning, trust me itll b curly ! but DO NOT re aply gel or mouse on your hair in the morning because itll weigh it down nd itll go back to straight just apply hair spray to keep it curly. good luck ! let me know how it turns out and if you like it !

to answer the question you could try wetting your hair and putting gel or mousse in it to maintain the curl pattern. Other than that, you have to curl your hair and wear something on your head at nite, and learn how to sleep so your hair doesn't mess up.

Take a shower in the morning and curl you hair while it is wet. Let it dry naturally and see if it look good.

Here's what I do -
1. Wash hair
2. use "Starlit Waves" by John Frieda (at any grocery or drug store)
3. blow-dry with a diffuser
This works great for me! Let me know if it helps! :)

If you have a Sally Beauty Supply store around go there and get the noodle head line. Comb your hair in the shower w/a shower comb. Dont comb after you get out. Apply noodle head and bend over and carefully start scrunching.

If your hair has a wave to it, try using a mousse or something in it and blow drying it up side down with a diffuser on your hairdryer. with your head up side down hold the dryer in one hand and scrunch the hair up towards the root, you'll get a nice curl and volume at the same time.
